Medicine cats, and anyone else who gathers, pick plants with V while standing at the spawn. Survival mode is where the effects matter. Roleplay mode does not run hunger, thirst, or injury. Several herbs can be held at once as a visible bundle. Store them on the camp medicine shelves. RiverClan shelves are the woven fishnet ones. ThunderClan's medicine den is the cave beside the camp exit.
The in-game herb list still names feverfew and lamb's ear. Those two do not spawn on this map. Mouse bile can be taken in a medicine den, and it is a roleplay item only. Ticks were removed to cut lag, so bile has nothing to scrape.

Match the cure to the injury
Falls and ravine drops are the broken-leg case: cobwebs, which means you already gathered a stick. Cold water in bad weather is the chill and fever case: borage, and catmint if it has become whitecough. A sore throat can be honey or tansy. Rat bites want burdock. Deathberry poison wants yarrow. Cough and fever that remain after the poison can also be treated with tansy or honey.
Poppy seeds are the pain and sleep option, and you get them by shaking the flower rather than pulling the whole plant. Marigold is the general wound plant, and it is the one players chew before they apply it.
Deathberry bushes are a hazard on the Moonpool hill, not a medicine stock. Leave them unless a scene is explicitly a poisoning plot that the other player has agreed to.
